Dress Code Guidelines for GATE ECE Exam

1. Clothing:
- Wear comfortable and decent clothing.

2. Footwear:
- Wear comfortable footwear such as shoes or sandals.
- Avoid wearing shoes with thick soles or heels that may be used to hide prohibited items.

3. Accessories:
- Avoid wearing any type of jewelry, including earrings, bracelets, rings, and necklaces.
- Refrain from wearing any type of headgear, including hats, caps, or scarves, unless it is for religious reasons. In such cases, the headgear should not hide the face.

4. Prohibited Items:
- Do not carry any electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or any other communication devices.
- Avoid carrying any stationery items like pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, or any other material that may assist in unfair means.
- Avoid carrying any bags, wallets, or purses to the examination center, as they are not allowed inside the exam hall.

5. Identification:
- Carry a valid photo identification proof, such as Aadhar card, PAN card, passport, or driver's license. Make sure the name and photograph on the ID proof match the details mentioned in the GATE application form.
