  • Kosi river is called the mourning river of Bihar.
  • Damodar river is called the mourning of Bengal
  • The Brahmaputra river is called the mourning of Assam.
  • The Brahmani river is called the mourning of Orissa.
  • The Karmanasa river forms the line between Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and divides the border.
