The bile juice is a dark green coloured fluid which is generated in the livers of most vertebrates. It is produced from the liver and concentrated in the gallbladder. This juice helps to digest lipid in small intestine. This juice also takes part in many other digestion procedures.

Bile juice is produced by liver....it has two components.....Bile pigments and Bile salts

Bile pigments are the waste materials formed by the digestion of dead RBCs......


bile pigmets are of two types biliverdin and bilirubin..........biliverdin is green in colour excess in herbivores therefore,tjeir stool is green nd bilirubin is slightly yellowish and its excess in carnivores therefore,their stool is yellow in colour.


1.bile juice neutralises acidic nedium of food due to the presence of HCL and makes the medium alkaline which is neccessary for the functioning of pancreatic enzymes.....

2.bile salts help in emulsification of fat molecules i.e,break down of big fat molecules into smaller pieces.......
