Solution:

Given:
- Speed ratio of the two trains = 2:5
- Distance ratio traveled by the two trains = 5:9

Let's assume:
- The speed of the first train = 2x
- The speed of the second train = 5x
- The distance traveled by the first train = 5y
- The distance traveled by the second train = 9y

Ratio of times taken by the two trains:
- Time = Distance/Speed

Time taken by the first train:
= 5y / 2x
= 5y / 2(2)
= 5y / 4

Time taken by the second train:
= 9y / 5x
= 9y / 5(5)
= 9y / 25

Ratio of times taken by the two trains:
= (5y / 4) : (9y / 25)
