Calculation of Capital to be brought by C:

  1. Initial Capital of A and B:
    A's capital = ₹55,000
    B's capital = ₹45,000

  2. Ratio of Initial Capitals:
    A:B = 55,000 : 45,000 = 11:9

  3. Capital to be brought by C:
Given, C is admitted for 1/5th share
    Total share after C's admission = 1 (C's share) + 11 (A's share) + 9 (B's share) = 21 parts
    C's share = 1/5 of total share = 1/5 * 21 = 4.2 parts

  4. Capital to be brought by C:
    C's capital = Total capital * C's share
    C's capital = (55,000 + 45,000) * (4.2/21)
    C's capital = 1,00,000 * 0.2
    C's capital = ₹20,000

Therefore, C should bring ₹20,000 as capital to the partnership.
