Well lets understand this word in a very simpler and easier way... So what do we mean from reserved constituency if we considers this as a one word so when we expands this it is a mixture of two words... The frst one is reserved which means something that is kept specially for a particular person.. Now the second word is constituency which means a group of people with shared interest or political opinions.. As we know that in India there are various caste or class most of among them are consider as minorities (SC, ST, OBC or women) as they r minorities nd also in some case not that much financially active so thts y our constitution held a process of reservation to uplift their status members of these sections in the society... Hence certain number of political reserves and education or job related posts were reserved for these class... That is known as reserved constituencies..
