Let the no. be X Therefore, 11x:7x =324 if add the ratio.. 18x = 324 after that transfer the 18 to right hand side.... with holding 'x' x =324/18 Hence, the answer is 18 After that.... multiple 18 with the ratio given above to get the number... 18*11= 198 18*7 = 126 Therefore X get 198 & Y get 126

Here is ratio of division is 11:7 so,

X share = 11a and Y is 7a

total 11a + 7a = 18a

18a = 324

a = 18

X share = 11a= 198 rs

Y share = 7a= 126 rs

Yes the answer is option DExplaination goes like this

For X (324/18)*11= Rs 198

For Y (324/18)*7= Rs 126

For X (324/18)*11= Rs 198

For Y (324/18)*7= Rs 126
