To find: Ratio between the average temperature of Q and R
Solution:
Let the average temperature of P, Q, and R be 11x, 12x, and 8y respectively. (Taking 11x as the common ratio)

According to the given condition, the ratio of the average temperature of P and Q is 11:12.
Hence, we get:
11x/12x = 11/12
=> x = 1

Now, the average temperature of P, Q, and R becomes 11, 12, and 8y respectively.

According to the given condition, the ratio of the average temperature of P and R is 9:8.
Hence, we get:
11/8y = 9/8
=> y = 11/9

Now, the average temperature of P, Q, and R becomes 11, 12, and 88/9 respectively.

Therefore, the ratio between the average temperature of Q and R is:
12/(88/9) = 27/2
