Hearing hue and cry of other people living near the spot, people in the whole village rushed to the spot with bucket.gunny sacs put out of the fire. But they failed to bring fire under control.later fire brigade from Comilla came to the spot and successful in extinguishing fire with the help of the people. But at that time all the 9 shops burnt into ashes.Some people were injured while controlling the fire. total loss of property and goods were estimated to be nearly 2 correction taka.
