Finding the Ranks of Sumit and Shruti from the bottom

Given:
- Number of students in the class = 31
- Sumit's rank from the top = 7
- Shruti's rank from the top = 11

To find:
- Sumit's rank from the bottom
- Shruti's rank from the bottom

Approach:
- We know that the total number of students in the class is 31.
- Therefore, Sumit's rank from the bottom can be calculated by subtracting his rank from the top from the total number of students and adding 1 to it.
