There are total 9 glands in human body:-

1.. HYPOTHALAMUS:- it is present in the brain and secrete releasing hormone and inhabitory hormones.

2.. PITUITARY GLAND:- it is present just below the brain. The pituitary gland secrete a number of hormones. One of the hormone secreted by pituitary gland is growth hormone.

3.. THYROID GLAND:- thyroid gland is attached to the windpipe of our body. Thyroid gland makes the hormone called thyroxine.

4.. PARATHYROID GLAND:- therefore small parathyroid gland which are embedded in the thyroid gland. Parathyroid gland secrete hormone called parathormone.

5.. THYMUS GLAND:- thymus gland lies in lower part of the neck and upper part of chest thymus gland secrete thymus hormone which player major role in developing of immune system of body.

6.. PANCREAS:- the pancreas is just below the stomach in the body. Pancreas regulate the hormone called insulin.

7.. ADRENAL GLAND:- adrenal glands are present on the top of the two Kidneys. Adrenal hormone is secreted by adrenal gland.

8.. TESTIS(in males):- testes are the gland which are present only in males. Testosterone makes a sex a hormone call testesteron.

9.. OVARIES(in females):- ovaries are the glands which are present only in females. Ovaries make two female sex hormone called oestrogen and progesterone.
