Cryptomerozoites are produced in Plasmodium life cycle ina)Liver cells...
Exo- erythrocytic cycle: It is the second phase of asexual multiplication of plasmodium in the liver cell. It starts when crypto merozoites enter into the fresh liver cell and grow into rounded schizont. Schizont then undergoes multiple fission, to produce meta crypto merozoites.

Plasmodium Life Cycle:

Plasmodium is a parasite that causes malaria in humans. It undergoes a complex life cycle, involving both human and mosquito hosts. The life cycle of Plasmodium consists of two phases: the asexual phase that occurs in the human host and the sexual phase that occurs in the mosquito host.

Asexual Phase:
During the asexual phase, Plasmodium replicates within the human host. It starts with the bite of an infected female Anopheles mosquito, which injects sporozoites into the bloodstream.

1. Invasion of Liver Cells:
Once in the bloodstream, sporozoites travel to the liver. They invade hepatocytes, which are liver cells, and start replicating inside them. This is where the formation of cryptomerozoites takes place.

2. Formation of Cryptomerozoites:
Cryptomerozoites are a stage of Plasmodium that is produced within liver cells. They are formed through multiple rounds of replication of the sporozoites. These cryptomerozoites are enclosed within a parasitophorous vacuole, which protects them from the host immune system.

3. Release into the Bloodstream:
After the formation of cryptomerozoites, they are released into the bloodstream from the liver cells. This release leads to the onset of the symptomatic phase of malaria.

Sexual Phase:
Once in the bloodstream, the cryptomerozoites infect red blood cells (RBCs) and continue their replication. This marks the beginning of the sexual phase of the Plasmodium life cycle.

Conclusion:
In summary, cryptomerozoites are produced during the asexual phase of the Plasmodium life cycle, specifically within liver cells (hepatocytes). After their formation, they are released into the bloodstream, where they infect red blood cells and continue their replication during the sexual phase of the life cycle.
