10 Weeks Study Plan for Term- 2 Class 10 PDF Download

Given the symmetry between the Term 1 and Term 2 Syllabi for Class 10 Boards, the prep schedule for both is almost identical in terms of structure. But then too it is important to jot down your strategy in advance, so as to avoid any confusion or repetition of efforts. 

Week 1

We begin the first week with a chapter of science and maths and balance the load with a light day for reading and writing practice.

Week 2

For the second week we start with Biology, complete the chapter and switch to literature. Then we practice Science and switch back to Maths.

Week 3

We begin the 3rd week by targeting one of the lengthiest chapter of social science and spending a fair bit of time on it to strike it off thoroughly. We then freshen up the week with a bit of literature and writing practice and end the week with and important chapter of Chemistry.

• Day 5: Carbon and its compounds

Week 4

In this week we pivot back to the Math English and Science strategy.

• Day 2: Arithmetic Progressions
• Day 3: RS Aggarwal and RD Sharma Solutions
• Day 4: The Proposal (Play) & The Tale of Custard the Dragon
• Day 5:  Heredity and Evolution
• Day 6:  Heredity and Evolution
• Day 7: Practice concepts of science via Lakhmir Singh & Manjit Kaur Solutions

Week 5

For week 5 too we continue the same plan.

• Day 1: Surface Areas And Volumes
• Day 2: Surface Areas And Volumes
• Day 3: RS Aggarwal and RD Sharma Solutions
• Day 4: Practice Reading comprehension and Writing skills
• Day 5:  Electricity
• Day 6:  Electricity
• Day 7:  Practice concepts of science via Lakhmir Singh & Manjit Kaur Solutions: Class 10 Science

Week 6

For this week we target one of the trickiest topic from Mathematics and spend 3 days to complete it diligently. Next we switch to Social and finish off with Science.

• Day 1 & 2: Some Applications Of Trigonometry (Notes and Exercises)
• Day 3: Some Applications Of Trigonometry (Worksheets and Tests)
• Day 4: Life Lines of National Economy
• Day 5: Manufacturing Industries
• Day 6: Magnetic effects of current
• Day 7: Magnetic effects of current

Week 7

This week we move back and forth between Science revision, Social Science Literature and Mathematics.

• Day 1: Practice concepts of science via Lakhmir Singh & Manjit Kaur Solutions
• Day 2: Globalization and the Indian Economy
• Day 3: The Making of a Scientist & Practice Reading comprehension and Writing skills
• Day 4: Political Parties
• Day 5:  Our Environment & Practice concepts of science via Lakhmir Singh & Manjit Kaur Solutions
• Day 6: Constructions
• Day 7: Statistics

Week 8

This week we wrap up with Mathematics syllabus and finish it of with some revision from RD and RS. Also that we have completed the Science syllabus we will also attempt a full length test.

• Day 1: Circles
• Day 2: Circles
• Day 3: RS Aggarwal and RD Sharma Solutions  
• Day 4: The Necklace & Practice reading comprehension and writing skills  
• Day 5: Full-length test of science  
• Day 6 & 7: The Making of a Global World/The Age of Industrialization 
  (Note: Students have a choice to select any one theme of the following. The theme selected should be assessed in the periodic test only and will not be evaluated in the board examination)

Week 9

So now that we are done with the Mathematics syllabus we will focus on English and Social Science, complete Social and attempt some full-length tests. 

• Day 1: Bholi & Practice reading comprehension and writing skills
• Day 2: Outcomes of Democracy 
• Day 3: Sectors of the Indian Economy & Money and Credit
• Day 4: Minerals and Energy Resources
• Day 5: The Hack Driver & Practice reading comprehension and writing skills
• Day 6: Full-length Science & Maths test 
• Day 7: Full-length Mathematics and Social Science test

Week 10

We would sum up the last week by completing English syllabus and then attempting multiple full length tests to enhance our accuracy and confidence.

• Day 1: The Thief's Story & Practice reading comprehension and writing skills
• Day 2: Full-length Social Science and Science test
• Day 3: Footprints Without Feet & Practice reading comprehension and writing skills
• Day 4: Full length English and Mathematics test 
• Day 5: Full length English and Science test
• Day 6: Full-length Social Science and Mathematics test 
• Day 7: Full-length English and Science test

This sums up your class 10th  journey. But folks please remember, although we have drafted a precise structure for you it does not mean you blindly have to stick with it. Each of you is special and different and has his/her strengths and weaknesses. This schedule just provides you an objective and so, a little bit of modification as per your preferences would only enhance your productivity.
