  • Nationality: Candidates applying for AP LAWCET exam 2023 must be Indian nationals as prescribed by the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974. Non-Indian candidates may also apply if they adhere to the rules and regulations as specified by the concerned Universities.
  • Local/ Non Local Status: Aspirants of AP LAWCET 2023 exam should also satisfy the local status requirements. As per the AP LAWCET 2023 eligibility criteria, students from Telangana applying for AP LAWCET 2023 must check their eligibility for local status from the official website. Any applicant who has migrated from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh within a period of five years from June 2, 2014 will be considered as a local candidate of AP for admission purposes.
  • Educational qualification: To apply for the 3-year LLB programme, candidates must be a graduate in any stream in the 10+2+3 scheme while candidates applying for the 5-year course must have passed the 10+2 standard examination. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam may also apply for AP LAWCET 2023.

Note: Candidates who have passed 10+2 or graduation/ post-graduation through a single sitting system directly without any basic qualification are not eligible.

  • Number of attempts: As per the AP LAWCET eligibility criteria given by the authorities, candidates can attempt the AP LAWCET 2023 exam any number of times.
