Ans. Gel colloids differ from sol colloids in their structure. Gel colloids have a three-dimensional network structure formed by the particles, which gives them a semi-solid or gel-like consistency. Unlike sol colloids, gel colloids do not flow freely and can retain their shape. Examples of gel colloids include gelatin, agar-agar, and toothpaste.

Ans. An emulsion colloid is a type of colloid in which liquid droplets are dispersed in another immiscible liquid. The two liquids in an emulsion colloid do not mix or dissolve in each other. The droplets of one liquid are dispersed throughout the other liquid, forming a stable mixture. Examples of emulsion colloids include milk (which is an emulsion of fat droplets in water), mayonnaise, and salad dressings.

Ans. An aerosol colloid is a type of colloid in which solid or liquid particles are dispersed in a gas medium. These particles are small enough to remain suspended in the gas and can be easily dispersed by air currents. Examples of aerosol colloids include fog (water droplets dispersed in air), smoke (solid particles dispersed in air), and air pollution particles.
