Delegates and Members of World Heritage Committee Visit Monuments and World Heritage Sites in and around Delhi


Context

During the 46th World Heritage Committee Meeting in New Delhi (July 21-31, 2024), delegates explored local heritage sites during a day off.

They visited major landmarks in Delhi and Agra, including the Taj Mahal and Red Fort, and commended the Archaeological Survey of India’s conservation efforts.
