SLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before you proceed to filling up of the Symbiosis Law Admission Test 2026 Application Form, you will have to follow the steps given below:

• In order to appear for SLAT, the minimum educational qualification needed is intermediate. You will at least have to get 45% marks in the aggregate and the students belonging to the SC/ST category will have to get a minimum of 40%.
• If the student is appearing for the class XII board examination, even then he can appear for this test. At the time of counselling, these students will be able to produce the documents for the qualifying examination.
• In order to appear for this examination, there is no age limit.

SLAT 2026 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme

SLAT 2026 Syllabus

Section 1: Logical Reasoning

• Statement Assumptions, Statement Arguments (Strong & Weak Arguments), Verbal reasoning (course of action), Number test, Series test, Coding and Decoding, Questions on relations, Logical Puzzles, Critical Reasoning, Odd one out.

Section 2: Legal Reasoning

• Constitutional Law, Indian Penal Code, Law of Torts, Indian Contract Act, Family Law, Legal Misc. (Intellectual Property Rights, Labour Laws, etc.)

Section 3: Analytical Reasoning

• Number system (square roots), Verbal reasoning (cause and effect), Time and work, Permutation and combination, Profit- loss and discount, Ratio and proportion, Number series, Blood relations, Questions on series, Clocks and calendar, Situation based decision making.

Section 4: Reading Comprehension

• Fill in the blanks, Idioms & Phrases, Cloze Test, Para jumbles, Error Spotting, Foreign Words, Sentence Improvement, Sentence Rearrangement, Para Summary, One Word Substitution, Figures of Speech, Odd one out, Spelling Errors, Synonym, Antonym, Word Usage.

Section 5: General Knowledge

• Static GK: Polity, UN Bodies, History- Ancient, Medieval, Modern and World, Geography, Economics, General Science, Science and Technology, Environment, Ecology.
• Current Affairs: Events of National and International importance, Banking and Financial Institutions, Eminent Personalities, Current events in areas of Economics, Science, Sports, Places, Persons, Awards and Honors, Books and Authors, Important Days and Dates.

SLAT 2026 Admit Card

In order to download the admit card, the candidate will have to log in to the official website. It is necessary for the candidate to take a colored printout of the admit card and also check the details mentioned on it. Without the admit card, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

SLAT 2026 Result

The results for the Symbiosis SLAT 2026 examination will be declared on the official website. 
In order to check the result, the candidate will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

• Step 2: The result will be available on the dashboard as per the schedule
