The SSC CGL Notification 2024 will be published on 1st April, 2024 and the registration period will run from 1st April to 1st May, 2024.In a prior update, the Commission announced the availability of 37,409 vacancies for the SSC CGL 2022-23 Exam. How to  Apply Online for

SSC CGL 2024?

As per the official notificationcandidates can apply for SSC CGL 2024 through an online process from April 1st to May 1st, 2024. It is important for applicants to provide correct and up-to-date information, as errors can lead to disqualification. To avoid missing the opportunity, candidates must submit their application within the given timeframe, as the registration link will be deactivated after the deadline.

SSC CGL 2023 Application Fee

According to the SSC CGL Notification 2023, the required SSC CGL 2023 Application Fee is Rs 100 and there are No Fees to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-servicemen candidates for the SSC CGL Exam 2023. The candidates must note that the application fees should be paid only through SBI either in the form of Challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank credit card and a debit card is also acceptable.
Candidates who want to pay the fee in cash can take the printout of Challan (the Challan form will be generated online). Visit any branch of SBI and deposit the required fees for the SSC CGL Exam and completed the further registration process.

SSC CGL Notification 2023: Selection Process

  • As per the SSC CGL Notification 2023, SSC CGL 2023 Exam will be conducted in Two Tiers. The SSC CGL Tier 1 Examination will be an online and computer-based test. This will be qualifying in nature and the marks for this exam will not be included in the final results however, only those candidates who qualify SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be eligible for the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam. 
  • The SSC CGL Tier 2 will have three papers, including Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III. 
  • It is very important to note that Paper I is compulsory for all posts. 
  • Candidates who will appear for Paper II will be selected for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. 
  • Paper III will be for those who will apply for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer or Assistant Account Officer. 
  • Important Note for candidates that candidates who will qualify SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will proceed further to Tier 2. 
  • The cut-off for the SSC CGL 2023 Exam will be released separately for Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III of the Tier 2 Exam.

SSC CGL 2023: Admit Card

The admit card for each stage will be released followed by the release of the application status. SSC CGL Admit Cards are released on the respective regional website for which the candidate has applied for. The candidates can download their SSC CGL Hall Ticket using their registration number and password generated at the time of the registration process. 

SSC CGL 2023: Answer Key

The Staff Selection Commission uploads the provisional and final SSC CGL answer key for each tier separately. The tier 1 answer key will be issued 10 days after the last exam date. Those who will appear for SSC CGL 2023 exam can download and check their response sheet from the SSC official website. It can be downloaded using roll number and password. Through answer key, candidates can calculate their probable score as it highlights the number of questions attempted & unattempted, the number of correct answers, answers marked for review, etc.
If the candidate finds any answer unsatisfactory, he can challenge the provisional answer key by paying a fee of Rs 100. After receiving all the objections, the commission evaluates them and then releases the final response sheet along with the result. SSC CGL 2023: Result

The conducting authority will roll out SSC CGL Result 2023 after the conclusion of the exam which will be held in June/July 2023. The Staff Selection Commission releases result in PDF format, mentioning the names of shortlisted candidates for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer (AAO), Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), Statistical Investigator- Grade II, and other posts. Candidates whose roll numbers & names will be mentioned in the result PDF can proceed to the next recruitment stage. For FY 2022-23, the Tier 1 result was announced on 09 February 2023 along with the cutoff marks.
For FY 2021, the final result was announced on 23 March along with the final cut off marks. A total of 7521 candidates were selected for various Group B & C posts.
