Material Required

• Toilet paper roll or any cardboard can (e.g. Pringles can)
• Acrylic paint (white and gold)
• Paint brush
• White glue or tacky glue
• Paper, yarn, beans, seeds, little stones

Directions to be followed

• Start out with a toilet paper roll. If it's a bit small for your wrist or arm, use a cardboard can such as a small Pringles can or shoestring potato can. Cut off the can's base.
• Cut the TP roll or cardboard can along its height. The slit will allow you to wear the roll on your wrist or arm.
  
• Trim the TP roll or cardboard can to the desired length of your bracelet or armband.
• Try it on. You can further trim it down until you achieve the desired bracelet or armband length.
• Create embossing or raised features on your bracelet by gluing materials such as paper, yarn or jute twine. Roll and twist paper tightly into a pair of 6 to 8-inch long strips.
  
• Glue the pair of rolled paper strips, yarn, or jute twine at the top and bottom edge of the bracelet. Trim any excess length.
• Decorate the middle part of your bracelet by gluing yarn or twine to create straight, wavy or zigzag lines. Add small details by gluing seeds, beans, little stones, or tiny bits of paper rolled into balls. Use tacky glue instead of regular white glue for attaching heavier materials like beans and small stones.
• Once the glue dries, prime the entire surface of the bracelet with white acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry completely.
• Paint the entire surface of the bracelet with gold acrylic or poster paint.
  
• When the paint dries, try on your bracelet or armband.
