SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2024

As per the revised exam pattern, the Staff Selection Commission of India will be conducting SSC CGL 2023 Exam in two stages: Tier-1 and Tier-2. SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be compulsory for all candidates. For SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam, there will be Paper 1, 2, and 3, whereas Paper I is Compulsory for all posts, Paper II is for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Paper III is for candidates who apply for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer. SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL 2023 Tier-1 test will be held online, consisting of four sections and featuring 100 multiple-choice questions in total for a maximum score of 200 points. Candidates must complete the entire exam within a 60-minute time frame. The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam is qualifying in nature, and the marks will not contribute to the final selection.

  • Paper 4 General Studies(Finance and Economics) was introduced for AAO posts

2019-2020

  • Announcement that Tier 2 and Tier 3 would be conducted simultaneously hence candidates needed to prepare accordingly.
