Creating with the Seaboard RISE - 3.3: Vocal Sampling using Bitwig Sampler Video Lecture | Introduction to Seaboard Rise: Advance Music Production

in this video I'm going to be adding
kind of a DJ scratching sort of vocal to
this track will be kind of controlling
it with their Roli seaboard and using a
bit wig sampler let's see how it works
I'm going to make a new track here in
bit wig and I'll search for the bit wig
sampler device once that's in we can
actually drop any audio file in here and
immediately be able to play it on the
seaboard I'll search for one I'm
prepared for this it's just uh just me
talking really and when you're in the
browser you can audition your sound and
any point in your sound loops
superconsciousness you sees her that
sounds good
alright right when it's in here I want
to choose a start point I can move this
start flag around and experiment with
playing on the keyboard of the roof
right away I can audition the sound by
playing on a key wave circle and I can
choose the start point to find just that
right point that I want to start the
sampled instrument falling falling
falling up front guides guide guide and
you'll find who has sampled instruments
it almost doesn't matter where you start
it's always going to be a cool sound but
I'm gonna try right here and if you have
to you can go to the bottom of the
interface here and scroll in by dragging
your mouse up and back and forth and
really zoom in to get that star point
set perfectly let's hear how that sounds
with with with with with awareness so we
get a lot of cool control on that the
one thing I want to add to this is I'd
like key position to change the pitch
right now with with with with we matter
what key way might play on its playing
the same pitch I can still glide and
create like a pitch drop but I'd like to
be able to try this on different pitches
so we'll have to modulate pitch with our
key position modulator so I'll click on
key that's going to be our modulation
source a hover over pitch and I'll drag
up to plus twelve and now I should be
able to play across the key waves and
get a variety of different pitches with
with and it'll play back faster as we
play up the keyboard
so with that we have actually a pretty
fun instrument we can play let's hear it
in the context of our song
