Accessing Course Website - MATLAB Video Lecture | MATLAB Programming for Numerical Computation - Software Development

hi guys this is a short video for
students enrolled in MATLAB programming
for numerical computations course this
is a video on how to access the course
website this is based on some of the
frequent questions that we have seen in
the last couple of weeks so the first
thing we do is we go on to the course
website which is online courses dot
NPTEL got AC dot I n slash n OC 16
underscore CH 0 1 when you go to the
website you will not be able to see the
course content unless you log in to do
so you will log in using your gmail
account that he used to register I
created an account for myself and I
registered as a student so let me just
login into my account once I do that the
word login has been replaced by my email
id that is demo dot student dot n Patel
the outline of the course is can be seen
on the left hand side you can click on
any of the links over here and it will
drop down individual lectures in that
particular module or in that particular
unit you can access any of these
lectures then by clicking on those links
and after the YouTube video or sometimes
before it you would find certain
information about the video itself and
about the lecture for example here you
will find the presentation file that I
have used in this particular lecture it
will also contain a link for document
that contains the problems that were
solved in this video lectures as well as
some important things with regards to
this particular lecture in addition to
that in each of the modules you will see
the links to the assignments this is an
eight-week course one module will be
covered in each week so we will have
links for the eight modules over here in
addition to that we have a link which
covers the course
overview and essentials and a link which
contains various help videos students
who have been enrolled in this course
since end of December or beginning of
January may have seen that some of this
course website has been restructured the
main modules module 1 to 8 will come one
after the other as the links over here
currently we have videos up for module 1
and module 2 only announcements is the
place where we are going to make
announcements regularly regarding this
course several of you have asked
questions about whether we'll be able to
download videos or not if you go to this
announcement link one of the
announcements that was posted in
December 2015 was how to download the
video lectures if your college does not
allow you access to YouTube you can go
and click on this link which will take
you to an Patel website that allows you
video download once you go to the NPTEL
website click on the link that says
video download and you will be able to
download the videos in one of the three
formats mp4 flv or 3gp format we have
the course forum that is dedicated to
answering technical or access questions
regarding the forum we have streamlined
the forums into various categories if
you have questions regarding access to
MATLAB online you can post them over
here and finally technical questions
regarding the various modules you will
be able to post over here if you have a
generic question that doesn't fit into
any of these great categories you have
this last category over here where you
can post that question finally you can
monitor your progress by clicking on
this progress here once the deadline for
the assignment is over you will be able
to see what what are the results of the
assignment that you have attempted and
finally regarding the assignment
if you go to each module we will be
posting the assignments in the module
itself the results from running your
MATLAB code need to be input in the
submit results from your MATLAB code
section so the assignments related to
module one assignment one will be posted
under module one assignment two will be
posted under module two assignment three
will be posted under module three so on
and so forth with that I come to this
