The correct option is B.
Let the present age of Ravi be 7x and that of Vinay be 15x.
After 2 yrs , Ravi age = 7x+2
Vinay age = 15x+2.
Acc. to ques,
15x+2 = 2 (7x+2)
15x+2 = 14x+4
 x = 2.
Five yrs ago,
 Ravi age = 7x-5 => 7*2 - 5 = 9 yrs
 Vinay age = 15x - 5 = 15*2 - 5 = 25 yrs.
Difference = 25 - 9 = 16 years

Let the present age of Ravi be 7x and that of Vinay be 15x.
After 2 yrs , Ravi age = 7x+2
Vinay age = 15x+2.
Acc. to ques,
15x+2 = 2 (7x+2)
15x+2 = 14x+4
 x = 2.
Five yrs ago,
 Ravi age = 7x-5 => 7*2 - 5 = 9 yrs
 Vinay age = 15x - 5 = 15*2 - 5 = 25 yrs.
Difference = 25 - 9 = 16 years
