In the story "A Letter to God" by G.L. Fuentes, Lencho is a poor farmer who writes a letter to God asking for money. A miracle happens, and he receives exactly the amount he requested. However, he is not surprised when he sees the money.

Reasons Why Lencho Was Not Surprised
There are several reasons why Lencho was not surprised when he saw the money:

1. Belief in God's Power
Lencho had complete faith in God's power and believed that his prayers would be answered. He had written a letter to God, and he was sure that God would send him the money he needed. When he received the money, he knew that it was a miracle and that God had fulfilled his request. Therefore, he was not surprised to see the money.

Lencho was not well-educated and did not know much about money. He had never seen a banknote before and did not understand its value. When he received the money, he thought that it was the exact amount he had requested, and he did not doubt its authenticity. Therefore, he was not surprised to see the money.

3. Simple Life
Lencho led a simple life and did not have high expectations. He was content with what he had and did not desire luxurious things. Therefore, when he received the money, he did not react with excitement or surprise. He saw it as a gift from God and was thankful for it.

Bcoz he had a complete faith on God and he thought that the rest 30 pesos had been stolen by post office people. That's y , he didn't get surprised , instead he calls them crooks.
