Pehle Swati aur Nidhi yeh dekhlo ki e/m ratio and q/m ratios are different thing............. 1.Cathode rays are nothing but electrons so e/m for cathode ray is constant because electrons charge and mass is constant so e/m for cathode rays is constant2.Anode rays are positive ions of gas so it depends upon nature of gas used, in brief different gases has different mass and charge of their ions also vary different gas to gas.... 3 . Don't call e/m for anode rays you have to say q/m............ 4.I think I give right explanation but I don't studied this chapter so look over it again .
