Here's a speech note on: "True Liberty is freedom from poverty depreciation and all forms of discrimination"
Goōd morning everyone present; I am going to talk about ‘True Liberty’. It is absolutely true liberty is freedom from poverty, deprivation and all forms of discrimination.
True liberty encompasses all types of freedom such as political, social, constitutional, economic, emotional, developmental, spiritual and all other aspects of life.
Our country got political freedom on August 15, 1947. However, there were many areas that needed to be worked upon. India at that time was exceedingly backward. The people of our country along with the Government worked very hard to achieve holistic freedom for each countryman.
If I say India has not holistic freedom for all countrymen, I am not making an exaggerated statement. True freedom is freedom from all deficiencies, problems, and challenges. Creating true freedom for all is not an easy task. Unless each one of us contribute in creating true freedom.
Still there exist problems and challenges of poverty, mismanagement of national resources, population, degradation of natural environment, pollution, backwardness, fool-proof defense of the nation, advanced education, costly and unaffordable medical facilities, and many more.
All the above mentioned challenges need to be overcome in order to provide holistic or all-round freedom to all Indians. In order to make this happen all need to work together with dedication and lofty goals. All men and women deserve true freedom. So, let’s join hands and work for this ideal.
Freedom is a state of liberty as opposed to confinement. And true liberty is freedom from poverty, deprivation and all forms of discrimination.
Again freedom means the ability to control oneself.
True freedom means that we are not free unless everyone is free. There must be equality and justice for all.
Let us all remeber that when we choose freedom, we procced towards love, we proceed towards God.
According to Mahatma Gandhi, India would be truly independent only when the nation is completely free of poverty. ... Today I am here, in front of you to express my views on the topic – True liberty is freedom from poverty, deprivation and all forms of discrimination. Gandhi claimed that only when the poorest of Indian people are free from human suffering, they will become truly independent. There are many poor people in our country who can’t get 2 square meals a day. They face a lot of difficulties in their lives. They can never fulfill their basic needs. What are its causes you may ask? –Non-technical education, rapidly increasing population, Illiteracy, Lack of employment. They are not fully aware about their basic rights. To overcome this situation, one must work hard. Other means to overcome this is to get inclined to technical education, Check increasing population, Self-awareness for literacy, increasing employment opportunities
There is a lot of discrimination in our society based on gender, religion, class etc. Male-dominance, Jealously, Differences in society, Exploitation of human rights and Government policies to name a few .The rich exploit the poor, and woman live at the mercy of men. Discrimination based on Gender, Religion, Class, etc. should be put to a halt.
I mentioned the word ‘’basic rights’’. What are those basic rights? Those rights that is granted by the constitution to all citizens of India irrespective of their caste, religion, gender etc.. What are the Constitutionally Guaranteed Human Rights?
Equal chances for everyone to develop, No difference between men and women ,Free education to all, and to live in Harmony.to conclude Everyone should enjoy constitutionally guaranteed rights. Only then we can say that we have true liberty.
