Internal fertilization The fusion of male gamete and female gamete occurs outside the body
In external fertilization.. The fusion of gametes occurs inside the body.
External fertilization.. Both individuals discharge their gametes outside the body.
Internal fertilization.. Only male discharges sperms into female genital tract.
External fertilization.. Development occur outside the body.
Internal fertilization.. Development occurs inside the body.
External fertilization occurs in Fish, Toads, and Frogs (Amphibians).
Internal fertilization occurs in Human, cattle, Birds etc. The site of fertilization in human beings is in the fallopian tube of female reproductive system.

Difference between internal and external fertilization ?
The main difference between internal and external fertilization is that internal fertilization occurs inside the female organism whereas external fertilization occurs outside the female organism. Oviparity, viviparity, and ovoviparity are the three methods of internal fertilization. Internal fertilization occurs in mammals, reptiles, some birds, and some fish. External fertilization occurs in frog, fish, mollusks, and crustaceans. Internal fertilization shows high survival rates of the embryo than the external fertilization.
