As we know that anabaena is associated with azolla,Vam is vesicular arbucular mycorrhiza and rhizobium is symbiotically associated with root of legumes plant .
whereas ,Azotobacter is free living nitrogen fixing bacteria. but this is also show symbiotic association with some plant and this is also used in crop field for nitrogen fixation .
so I think they all are symbiotically associated.
