"Dastak" pass the name we can find in Modern Indian History part under the section of "Advent of Europeans" . It was started in the year 1600 when the British ECI (East India Company ) arrived India .
The later Mughal emperor Farrukhsiyar issued a verdict of "Dastak" pass to the Company officials .

Historians says that this was a major mistake conducted by Mughul emperor Farrukhsiyar by allotting the Dastak pass to British East India Company , because through this royal pass they were being exempted from various tax and duites which they have to pay to the government in order to work on that particular area .
