Calculation:
Let the population after 2 years be x
Number of births in 1 year = 6% of 200,000 = (6/100) * 200,000 = 12,000
Number of deaths in 1 year = 3% of 200,000 = (3/100) * 200,000 = 6,000
Net increase in population in 1 year = 12,000 - 6,000 = 6,000
Net increase in population in 2 years = 2 * 6,000 = 12,000
