Explanation:
To form a team of four players, we need to select two males and two females. However, there are certain restrictions on the combinations of players that can be selected.

Given:
- Available players: A, B, C, W, X, Y, Z
- Restrictions: B cannot play with W, C cannot play with Z, and W cannot play with Y

Possible Combinations:
1. A, B, C, W
2. A, B, C, X
3. A, B, C, Z
4. A, B, C, Y
5. A, B, W, X
6. A, B, W, Z
7. A, B, X, Z
8. A, B, X, Y
9. A, B, Z, Y
10. A, C, W, X
11. A, C, W, Z
12. A, C, X, Z
13. A, C, X, Y
14. A, C, Z, Y

Restrictions:
- B cannot play with W
- C cannot play with Z
- W cannot play with Y

Elimination:
- Option 1 (A, B, C, W) is not possible because B cannot play with W.
- Option 2 (A, B, C, X) is possible because there are no restrictions on these players.
- Option 3 (A, B, C, Z) is not possible because C cannot play with Z.
- Option 4 (A, B, C, Y) is not possible because W cannot play with Y.
- Option 5 (A, B, W, X) is not possible because B cannot play with W.
- Option 6 (A, B, W, Z) is not possible because B cannot play with W and C cannot play with Z.
- Option 7 (A, B, X, Z) is possible because there are no restrictions on these players.
- Option 8 (A, B, X, Y) is not possible because W cannot play with Y.
- Option 9 (A, B, Z, Y) is not possible because C cannot play with Z.
- Option 10 (A, C, W, X) is not possible because B cannot play with W.
- Option 11 (A, C, W, Z) is not possible because C cannot play with Z.
- Option 12 (A, C, X, Z) is possible because there are no restrictions on these players.
- Option 13 (A, C, X, Y) is not possible because W cannot play with Y.
- Option 14 (A, C, Z, Y) is not possible because C cannot play with Z.

Conclusion:
From the above analysis, we can conclude that the team consisting of players A, B, C, and X is the only valid option.
