Given, the ratio of boys to girls in a school is 4:7. Let the total number of boys and girls be 4x and 7x respectively.

After increasing the number of boys by 25%, the new number of boys will be 1.25 times the original number of boys, i.e. 5x. Similarly, the new number of girls will be 1.15 times the original number of girls, i.e. 8.05x.

Therefore, the new ratio of boys to girls will be:

5x : 8.05x

Simplifying it, we get:

100 : 161

Hence, the correct answer is option (c) 100:161.
