A single phase transformer has 30 primary turns & 350 secondary turns. The net cross sectional area of the core is 250 cm^2. If the primary winding is connected to a 230v 50Hz supply. Calculate, A]peak value of flux density in the core B] the voltage induced in the secondary winding C] the primary current when the secondary current is 100A(neglect losses)?

A single phase transformer has 30 primary turns & 350 secondary turns....
And 120 secondary turns. The transformer is designed to operate at 60 Hz and has a rated voltage of 120 V on the primary side. The turns ratio is:

Np/Ns = 30/120 = 1/4

The voltage ratio is the same as the turns ratio:

Vp/Vs = Np/Ns = 1/4

Therefore, the rated secondary voltage is:

Vs = Vp/Ns/Np = 120/120/30 = 1 V

However, this calculation does not make sense, as the rated voltage on the secondary side should be higher than the primary voltage. It is possible that there is a mistake in the problem statement.

A single phase transformer has 30 primary turns & 350 secondary turns....
E=4.44*peak flux* frequency* number of turns
peak flux= Bm* Core area
induced voltage in secondary= turns ratio* voltage in primary
neglecting losses VI(primary)=VI(secondary)
