Acceleration due to gravity..is same...in earth atmospher...whether u r...on land or 24,000 feet up in the air..it remains the same..

so.. A answer is correct coz when we reduce our distance by 1/3 it doesn't effect the acceleration due to gravityy..because of above reason which i have explained
