Given information:
- Rooms are numbered from 101 to 130 on the first floor, 201 to 220 on the second floor and 301 to 330 on the third floor
- Room charges are Rs 200, Rs. 250 and Rs. 300 on each of the floors respectively
- Room occupancy was 50% on the first floor, 80% on the second floor and 40% on the third floor

To find: Average income per room in the hotel for the month of September

Calculations:
1. Number of rooms on each floor:
- First floor: 30 rooms (130 - 101 + 1)
- Second floor: 20 rooms (220 - 201 + 1)
- Third floor: 30 rooms (330 - 301 + 1)

2. Occupied rooms on each floor:
- First floor: 0.5 x 30 = 15 rooms
- Second floor: 0.8 x 20 = 16 rooms
- Third floor: 0.4 x 30 = 12 rooms

3. Total income on each floor:
- First floor: Rs. 200 x 15 = Rs. 3000
- Second floor: Rs. 250 x 16 = Rs. 4000
- Third floor: Rs. 300 x 12 = Rs. 3600

4. Total income for the month:
- Rs. 3000 + Rs. 4000 + Rs. 3600 = Rs. 10,600

5. Total number of rooms:
- 30 + 20 + 30 = 80 rooms

6. Average income per room:
- Rs. 10,600 / 80 = Rs. 132.50

Therefore, the average income per room in the hotel for the month of September is Rs. 132.50 (option b).
