Answer – b) 9:11 Explanation : milk = 48 and water = 32 litre initially then milk = 48 – 20*3/5 = 36 and water = 32 – 20*2/5 + 20 = 44 so ratio = 9:11

In 80 litre mixture of milk and water, water content is 40 percent. Th...
Given:
Total mixture = 80 litres
Water content = 40%

Calculation:
Let M be the amount of milk in the mixture.
Then, the amount of water in the mixture = 80 - M.

Water content = (Amount of water / Total mixture) * 100
40 = (80 - M) / 80 * 100
4000 - 100M = 3200
100M = 800
M = 8 liters

Amount of water in the mixture = 80 - 8 = 72 liters

After the trader gives 20 liters of the mixture to the customer, the amount of mixture left = 80 - 20 = 60 liters.

Now, the trader adds 20 liters of water to the mixture.
So, the amount of water in the mixture becomes 72 + 20 = 92 liters.

Therefore, the amount of milk in the mixture = 60 - 92 = -32 liters.
But, this is not possible as there cannot be a negative amount of milk in the mixture.

Hence, the given question is incorrect and there is no correct answer.
