Given Data:

Price of Rice A = Rs. 110 per kg

Price of Rice B = Rs. 95 per kg

Ratio of Rice A and Rice B = 1:1

Ratio of third variety = 2

Mixture Price = Rs. 115 per kg

To Find:

Price of third variety

Solution:

Let's assume the price of the third variety as Rs. x per kg.

Given, the ratio of Rice A, Rice B, and third variety is 1:1:2.

Therefore, the total mixture will have 4 parts.

Let's assume that the quantity of each part is 1 kg.

Quantity of Rice A = 1 kg

Quantity of Rice B = 1 kg

Quantity of third variety = 2 kg

Total Quantity of mixture = 4 kg

The cost of 1 kg mixture = Rs. 115

Therefore, the cost of 4 kg mixture = Rs. 115 x 4 = Rs. 460

Let's calculate the cost of each component:

Cost of 1 kg Rice A = Rs. 110

Cost of 1 kg Rice B = Rs. 95

Cost of 1 kg third variety = Rs. x

Total cost of 4 kg mixture = (1 x 110) + (1 x 95) + (2 x x) = 110 + 95 + 2x

110 + 95 + 2x = 460

2x = 460 - 110 - 95

2x = 255

x = 255/2

x = 127.5

Therefore, the price of the third variety per kg is Rs. 127.5.

Hence, option (B) is the correct answer.
