Let the amount received by A be 3x, the amount received by B be 5x, and the amount received by C be 7x.

We are given that the amount received by C is Rs. 4000 more than the amount received by B, so we can write the equation 7x = 5x + 4000.

Subtracting 5x from both sides, we get 2x = 4000.

Dividing both sides by 2, we get x = 2000.

Therefore, the amount received by A is 3x = 3(2000) = Rs. 6000.

The amount received by B is 5x = 5(2000) = Rs. 10,000.

The total amount received by A and B together is 6000 + 10000 = Rs. 16,000.

Therefore, the answer is c) Rs. 16,000.
