When an object has a uniform acceleration, it means that its velocity is changing at a constant rate.

Given Information

Acceleration = 3 m/s2

Velocity at a certain time = 10 m/s

Time elapsed = 2 seconds

Solution

Using the formula:

final velocity = initial velocity + (acceleration x time)

Let's first find the initial velocity:

initial velocity = final velocity - (acceleration x time)

initial velocity = 10 m/s - 6 m/s
