Temperature:
Temperature also affects the opening and closing of stomata. When it is hot, the stomata close to prevent water loss from the plant. When it is cool, the stomata open to allow for the exchange of gases.

Light intensity:
Light intensity affects the opening and closing of stomata. When it is bright, the stomata open to allow for photosynthesis, and when it is dark, the stomata close to prevent water loss.

Hormones:
