As a Scientist , Griffin was successful he discovered how to make human body transparent which is a big discovery and could be helpful one whereas as a human being Griffin was not good morally , his intention was to rob people rather he was a lawless person ,set fire on landlords house bcoz he had eject it moreover he disturbed Mrs Sniff and the clergy.
The qualties i can add in Griffin in order to make him a good person if only he would help people instead of disturbing .A scientist should help his people through his duscovery not to create problems for others.He could help people by reacting to wrong person helping children in the roads and many more.

No doubt Griffin was a brilliant scientist having the great ability that is shown in the chapter when he discovered that human body can make transparent by using some special chemicals.But as a human being he was a lawless person as a result he put his landowner house in fire because the landowner dislike him, he also rob people.
The value of empathy, responsibility, social welfare, kindness, honesty can be advised to make Griffin a better person.
