National Service Scheme (NSS) is a voluntary organization that works towards the development of the community. One of the major areas of focus for NSS is disaster management. The aim of NSS in disaster management is to support the government in managing disasters and to create awareness among people to prevent and mitigate the impact of disasters.




NSS aims to create awareness among people about different types of disasters, how to prevent them, and how to mitigate their impact. NSS volunteers organize awareness campaigns, workshops, and training sessions to educate people about disaster management.
