Xylem and phloem is called conducting tissue. They are involved in condition of water and food. Xylem conducts water absorbed by the roots to different parts of the plant. Phloem conducts food prepared in the leaves to various parts of the plant. Vascular tissue is a complex conducting tissue formed of more than one cell type found in vascular plants.
