At the age of 10 - 12 years, the secretion of the hormone "Testosterone" in males takes place which is responsible for the Masculine character. The rate of general body growth begins to slowdown when reproductive tissue begins to mature this period during Adolescence is called "Puberty".

Changes takes place in males during Puberty (Sexual maturation)

* Growth on hair on face.

* Growth of thick and dark hair under armpits and genital area.

* Change of voice.

* The skin frequently becomes oily and develop pimples.

* Occasional penis enlargement during day/night - dreams.

MALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

Testis :- Produce male sex cells sperm and hormone Testosterone which is responsible for
Masculine character.

Note:- Testis are located outside the body in Scrotum because Sperm formation requires lower
temperature. (Nearly 2 degree celsius less than body temperature)

Vas deference:- Tube like structure transfer Sperm to Urethra which is common passage for Urines and Sperm.

Prostate gland and Seminal vesicle:- Secretes fluid to nourish sperms and make their transportation easier.

Penis:- Muscular organ meant to transfer sperm to female reproductive system.

NOTE:- Sperm are tiny bodies consists genetic material and tail which help them to move towards female sex cells.

The male has reproductive organs, or genitals, that are both inside and outside the pelvis. The male genitals include:

1)the testicles (pronounced: TESS-tih-kulz)

2)the duct system, which is made up of the epididymis and the vas deferens

3)the accessory glands, which include the seminal vesicles and prostate gland

4)the penis
