Explanation:
The Tana Bhagat movement was a tribal movement that emerged in the early 20th century in the Chotanagpur region of present-day Jharkhand. This movement was led by the tribal leader Jatra Oraon and had its roots in the opposition to various social and economic issues faced by the tribal communities.

1. Jatra Oraon: The first statement is correct. Jatra Oraon was one of the prominent leaders of the Tana Bhagat movement. He played a crucial role in mobilizing the tribal communities and organizing them against the oppressive practices of moneylenders and British authorities.

2. Economic Policies: The second statement is correct. The Tana Bhagat movement began as a response to the economic policies of the British government. The tribal communities in the region were facing exploitation and oppression due to the economic policies implemented by the British authorities.

The British government's policies favored moneylenders and landlords, leading to the impoverishment of the tribal communities. The Tana Bhagat movement emerged as a resistance against these policies, demanding land rights, fair wages, and an end to the exploitative practices.

3. Mass Violence: The third statement is incorrect. The Tana Bhagat movement did not use mass violence against oppressive moneylenders and Britishers. Instead, it focused on peaceful protests, non-cooperation, and the promotion of indigenous cultural practices.

The movement emphasized the importance of self-reliance, education, and the preservation of tribal traditions. The Tana Bhagat movement aimed to bring about social and economic reforms through peaceful means, rather than resorting to violence.

In conclusion, the correct statements regarding the Tana Bhagat movement are that it was led by tribal leader Jatra Oraon and it began as opposition to the economic policies of the British government. The movement did not use mass violence against oppressive moneylenders and Britishers.
