In the case of oxygen ,if the supply of is not provided to all parts of our body then our muscels will not be able to perform AEROBIC respiration . if our body desnot supply oxygen to muscels, then our muscels will perform ANEROBIC respiration which forms lactic acid(the lactic acid causes very pain )due to this reason USSAIN BOLT can't run long distance because his body will be unable to fullfil the oxygen reqirment in his body .as well as athlets get cramps in their leg muscels. thus oxygen suplly to every part of our body is required for performing living process.In case of foodthe food we eat forms C6H12O6.that later forms ATP molecule (Adenosine Triphosphate) this is the energy currency of the cell in every living organism.Hence we can say that supply of food and oxygen is necessary for living or being alive.
