Solution:
Given equations are:
x^2y+1=0 ...(1)
2x-3y-12=0 ...(2)
Substituting x=p and y=q in equations (1) and (2), we get:
p^2q+1=0 ...(3)
2p-3q-12=0 ...(4)
Finding the value of p:
From equation (3), we get:
p^2q=-1
p^2=(-1)/q
p=±√(-1/q)
Since p is a real number, q cannot be negative. Hence, q>0.
So, p=±i/√q
But we know that p is a real number.
Therefore, p=0
Finding the value of q:
From equation (4), we get:
2p-3q-12=0
Substituting p=0, we get:
-3q-12=0
q=-4
Therefore, the values of p and q are 0 and -4 respectively.
Given equations are:
x^2y+1=0 ...(1)
2x-3y-12=0 ...(2)
Substituting x=p and y=q in equations (1) and (2), we get:
p^2q+1=0 ...(3)
2p-3q-12=0 ...(4)
Finding the value of p:
From equation (3), we get:
p^2q=-1
p^2=(-1)/q
p=±√(-1/q)

So, p=±i/√q
But we know that p is a real number.
Therefore, p=0
Finding the value of q:
From equation (4), we get:
2p-3q-12=0
Substituting p=0, we get:
-3q-12=0
q=-4
