Sn=4n²+5n,
for n=1,
s1=4(1)²+5(1)=9=a1,
for n=2,
S2=4(2)²+5(2)=16+10=26,
s2=a1+a2,
26=9+a2,
a2=26-9=17,
d=a2-a1=17-9=8,
series:9,17,.....

Sn = 4n2 + 5
S= n(4n + 5)
Sn = n(10 + 8n)/2
Sn = n(18 + 8(n - 1))
Sn = n(2(9) + 8(n - 1))/2
On comparing the above with S= n(2a + d(n - 1))/2 we get,
first term, a = 9 and common difference, d = 8
So, the series will be 9, 17, 25, 33, ...
