Difference between Federal System of India and USA

Introduction:
The federal system of government is a system in which power is divided between a central authority and constituent political units. Both India and the USA have a federal system of government, but there are some significant differences between the two.

State's Representation in the Upper House:
In India, the upper house of parliament, the Rajya Sabha, has representation from all states and union territories. In the USA, the Senate has two representatives from each state. Therefore, the answer is (A) state's representation in the upper house.

Dual Citizenship:
In the USA, a person can hold dual citizenship, which means they can be a citizen of both the USA and another country. In India, dual citizenship is not allowed. If an Indian citizen acquires citizenship of another country, they have to surrender their Indian citizenship.

Dual System of Court:
In India, there is a single integrated judiciary with a dual system of courts, namely the Supreme Court and the High Courts. In the USA, there is a dual system of courts, with separate federal and state court systems.

Dual Government:
In India, there is a dual government system with a central government and state governments. In the USA, there is a federal government with limited powers, and the states have their own governments with broader powers.

Conclusion:
Thus, we have seen that while both India and the USA have a federal system of government, there are some significant differences between the two. The state's representation in the upper house is the only similarity between the two countries.
