Mucus is present in Nasal passage or inside the nostrils which helps to filter the air and what the dust goes inside through nostrils, it helps to stick on the Mucus. Mucus is also present inside our stomach in order to protect the walls of the stomach from the action of acid and enzymes.
Mucus is also present in mouth, nose, eyelids, trachea (windpipe) and lungs, stomach and intestines, and the ureters, urethra, and urinary bladder.
